This necklace is  incredibly special to me as it represents the thousand of dogs who don't make it to forever homes.....But it can also be in honor and represent the memory of our own angel fur kids waiting at the bridge.

Either way, I adore the way this necklace turned out and all hours of carving, sanding,buffing,ozidizing and hand polishing are worth it if it comes to mean something signifigant to it's future owner :-)

The Greyhound Pendant: is a beautifully intricate but genaric image of a running greyhound...And because of that I have called him 'NAMELESS'. He measures 2.5" L X 1/2" of solid pure silver. I created both pendants from vintage moulds then  hand carved refined and sanded to bring out the fine detail, then oxidizing to bring out further detail by darkening the recessed areas and polishing the raised areas, finally buffing and hand polishing for shine

The very detailed Angel wing is 2"L x 1/2"W solid pure silver

The two pendants hang separately but I hung the beautifuly detailed angel wing hangs in back of the greyhound so at times it appears to be attached to the hounds back....Other times it layers in behind the hound creating a cluster charm effect.

I chose a sturdy 7mm Solid sterling double link flat curb chain to hang the two pendants by and used a cool little snap clip that allows you to detach the pendants easily should you want to switch chains. The high quality 18" Italian chain features a 10mm Lobster Claw closure
